Pierpaolo Cruz Bottini
Pierpaolo Cruz Bottini has been an Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminology and Forensic Medicine of the Law School (São Paulo University), with master’s and doctorate degree in the same University (Criminal Law), and has coordinated the Criminal Law course of the Institute of Public Law (Brasília – DF). He has been director of Economic Criminal Law of the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences, director of the International Criminal Law Association – Brazilian section, member of the Awards Committee of Innovare Award. He was in charge of the Judiciary Reform Office of the Ministry of Justice (2005-2007) and of the Department of Judiciary Modernization of the same body (2003-2005). He was regular member of the National Council of the Criminal and Penitentiary Policy and advisor of Ford Foundation in a project to improve the Brazilian judicial system. Author of books “Lavagem de Dinheiro – Money Laundering” (with Gustavo Henrique Badaró, São Paulo, RT, 2012), “Crimes de perigo abstrato e princípio da precaução na sociedade de risco – Abstract danger crimes and precautionary principle in the risk society” (São Paulo, RT, 2008), “Crimes de Omissão Imprópria – Crimes of Improper Omission” (São Paulo, Marcial Pons, 2019), and coordinated the works “Colaboração Premiada – Brazilian Plea Bargaining” (with Maria Thereza de Assis Moura, RT, 2017), “Reforma do Judiciário – Judiciary Reform” (with Sérgio Renault), “Direito Penal Contemporâneo – Contemporary Criminal Law” (with Gilmar Mendes and Eugênio Pacelli) and “Nova execução de títulos judiciais – New execution of legal proceedings” (with Sérgio Renault). He is author of articles and publications.

Igor Sant’Anna Tamasauskas, graduated from Law School of São Paulo University, with master and doctorate degrees in the same University (Public Law). Member of the Institute of the Lawyers of São Paulo. Administrative Comptroller (2002/2003) and Attorney General (2003/2005), both in the Municipality of São Carlos, and Assistant Deputy Chief of Legal Subjects of the Office of the Republic President’s Chief of Staff (2005/2007). Author of book “Corrupção Política – Political Corruption” (RT, 2019).

Aldo Romani Netto is a criminal attorney in high complexity cases since 2006, and holds a Graduation degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP). He also holds two Postgraduation degrees in Corporate Criminal Law and Compliance, and a Master degree in Law, all from the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP), in which he was awarded for his research and Master thesis. He is a member of the Research Group on Corporate Criminal Law at the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP), of the Permanent Research Group on Money Laundering Crimes at the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP), and of the Special Committee on Criminal Law at the Brazilian Bar Association.
